Some Decorating Ideas for Wedding Tent Ceilings

If you and your fiancé are planning to tie the knot this summer, chances are you will be making most of the sunny weather and have your wedding reception outdoors. This article intends to guide you through some fancy ideas on how you can spruce up the ceiling or your tent or marquee so that it can both be functional and attractive.

Create balloon groupings in various sizes using the wedding colours. Attach a ribbon to each and hang them inside the tent ceiling at the corners and in the very centre. For additional décor, you can incorporate fresh flowers or spray the balloons with colourful glitter so that they shimmer in the candlelight. String also some white tube lights around the perimeter and along the marquee's topmost support beams. Use a type of wire that is thin to make it appear invisible.

Another option would be to attach net lights across the entire ceiling, securing them in place periodically with a stitch or two of heavy-duty thread.
